Chicago Bride's Preferred Sources

The wedding day is not the right time to be experimental with your appearance, namely with makeup. A professional makeup application varies in price. Check with your professional. It can make a significant difference on your overall appearance.

When applying the makeup, make sure the gown is covered so as not to create unnecessary stains. After the makeup is set, cover your face and then slip the gown over your head. Be careful! You only have one dress. Here are some helpful tips concerning the final facial touches: avoid too much blush; use eyeliner to give lips and eyes definition; use lip liner as foundation in order to ensure long-lasting lipstick; and make sure face is well-powdered.
