Chicago Bride's Preferred Sources

After selecting someone to perform your service, be sure to build a rapport with this person. Whether a justice of the peace, a judge, a priest, a rabbi, a minister, or even someone with the proper legal authority, treat the officiant with respect and try your best to ensure a smooth road down the aisle. The officiant, in a way, is your consultant to the legal aspects, pre-wedding stress, and non-secular issues regarding matrimony. He may also provide a comforting source of advice in coping with pre-wedding stress and any other "life" issues that are concerning you at this point in your journey.
