Nowadays, the sky is the limit when it comes to choosing flavors and fillings for your wedding cake. Look for a cake designer whose creations you've admired or enjoyed and ask the right questions: do they deliver? Can they arrange a tasting? How many layers and fillings will you need for your number of guests? What tastes go better together? Can they design a cake for your theme and décor?
If your wedding will be held at a venue outside of a traditional setting (i.e. outdoors, museums, libraries) you will require a caterer. Choose according to your reception style, theme and formality. Don't go with finger food at a formal event or with haute-cuisine at an informal gathering. Do you prefer organic? How about a wait staff? Decide to your taste!
